Pricing

Milestone Service - We price by the job, not the hour. Our Up Front Pricing gives you the final price before we ever start any work. If it takes us longer then expected your not charged, our technicians are trained to make the repairs efficiently which saves you time and money.

Our Competition They price by the hour, the longer it takes the more they get paid? At the end of the service call they tell you how much material and labor it was, and you have no choice but to pay it. Thats not fair.

Scheduling A Home Visit

Milestone Electric - We always give you a smaller (2 hour) time frame, and we call a half hour before we arrive. And if we dont show up on time, we'll give you $25!

Our Competition They will typically give at least a 4 hour window, call if you beg them to, and hardly ever arrive on time...and when they dont you dont get anything for the wait.

Technicians

At Milestone - About 1 in one hundred technicians who apply at Highland Park Electrician are hired. Thats just 1% of applicants. Each one undergoes a background check, drug tests, aptitude tests, and then trained for several weeks before going out to your site. Why do we do all of that? Because we want to ensure that whoever is coming to your home knows exactly what needs to be done, and that you feel comfortable with them in your home.

At Our Competition They typically dont even background check or drug test their technicians, but if they do, there is not a company out there which continually trains their employees on safety issues and administers random drug tests more than us. They hire the technicians we dont, enough said.

Travel Charges

Milestone Electric - We charge the same amount, no matter. what...and we will always tell you what our travel charge is. It doesn't change, and there is never a hidden charge.

Our Competition They usually charge more to come to certain areas of town, especially if they know you make more money or have a bigger and nicer house. Most will charge more (up to $150.00) for same-day service. Basically, you never know what you're going to get.

Warranties on Electric Work

Milestone - We offer all of our customers a one year warranty on parts and labor, and up to 5 years on a lot of our services...so make sure to ask! Our goal is to fix your problem on the first try. But if for some reason something fails, one of our friendly technicians will come out day or night to fix it...at no extra fee. We will also provide all warranty information on your invoice.

Our Competition Usually the longest warranty is for around 1 year on parts and labor...but it is a whole other thing getting the contractor to honor it. Because they know they arent getting anymore of your money they'll probably be much less likely to want to get out there at all.

Same Day Service

Milestone Electric - We offer each and every customer same day electrical service...We understand that your electrical issues need to be fixed as soon as possible!

Our Competition Depending on the time of year, you will be lucky to get an electrician there in the next couple of days.

Guarantees

Milestone Electric - We are so sure we will do the job right that we are willing to gaurantee that if you arent 100% satisfied with the work, you dont have to pay us a thing. That's how we guarantee our work...and we state that clearly on every invoice.
